Music & Mixing by the river

 At the historic Riverside Building

Complete a summer evening with fellow music lovers near the river on the Historic Riverside Building’s east patio. Hear the best of a variety of musical genres including Jazz, Blues, and Americana. FREE Coda gatherings bring RSO and local musicians together to advance the art of music, all for your listening pleasure! Coda is scheduled for five Thursday evenings this summer starting at 8:00 p.m. It’s a perfect end to your Thursdays on First & 3rd activities. The setting includes table seating and a cash bar featuring premium liquors, wines and beers. Guests are also welcome to bring lawn chairs. In inclement weather, Coda moves inside to the atrium of the Historic Riverside Building.

RSOC is auditioning for Concertmaster

Rochester Symphony Orchestra & Chorale announces an opening for Concertmaster. First round auditions will be scheduled for Sunday, August 24 and Sunday, September 7 with successful candidates invited to perform as concertmaster on a rotating basis for the 2014-2015 concert season.
Interested musicians should review audition requirements and return a completed application to the RSOC office to reserve a time.
General orchestra auditions are planned for Sunday, September 7, 2014. Please check back for details after July 1st.
