Our mission is simple:
We bring great music to life.

We are collaborating with Ballet Blake!

While we are not yet able to return to the concert hall with the full orchestra or chorale just yet, we are excited to be partnering with Ballet Blake for an evening of dance, live music, and great food.

The dancers of Ballet Blake are wrapping up a summer intensive and are ready to perform. One of the pieces of music that has been choreographed specifically for them by Daniel Blake, is Summer from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. The music for this part of the evening will be performed by a string quartet from the Rochester Symphony, joined by concertmaster Michal Sobieski performing as soloist. To start off the evening, guests will be seated at physically distanced tables in the massive ballroom at Mayo Civic Center, food and beverage will be specially crafted by Mango Thai, and live music will be provided by Rochester Symphony musicians.

If you are ready to venture out, this is an event that you will want to attend! For more information or for tickets, visit balletblake.com

A special greeting from Rochester Symphony

to everyone at home:

On Saturday, March 14 , Rochester Symphony musicians thought they would be performing Wagner and Brahms for you at our "Cheers to 40 Years" concert. We've had to postpone that performance in order to ensure the safety of our community, but our thoughts are with our patrons and community members who are practicing social distancing, self-quarantine, and getting used to their homes as their new places of work and entertainment. We can't wait to celebrate with you all once we're on the other side of this! Stay well, stay healthy and stay musical.
